-Impossibly pricy for a developer to get into development with this product. Very ripe for a ess expensive competitor.

-Does Adobe realise just how many people and small businesses used ripped versions of their software - people who only do so because the Creative Suite has the kind of pricing policy that would shame a crack dealer?

-Adobe, I love your software trials. I would love to buy your software and would in a second if you could at least temporarily cut the price to a level based on the reality of today. The economy, the world economy, has crashed. Imagine how many more people could start their businesses using your software, if they could afford it. Unfortunately, no one can. Your software prices are only hurting the economy even more. Consider those thoughts.

-why does your company have to be so malicious? you make microsoft look like fucking ghandi. I can't think of a company with worse customer relations than Adobe

-Indeed, I agree, most small businesses in Europe aren't running your software legally, just because of the price of the suites. I'm a freelance developer/designer myself, and I (naturally) even can't afford CS4, yet I run it, it's patched/hacked/cracked I dunno, but it runs, it updates, it (most of the time) doesn't crash.
What's more, when it asked me to register it, not activate, but register it with Adobe online, it did it beautifully, and in less than a day I got an email (read: response) from you, thanking me for registering my copy of Creative Suite 4 Master Collection. So that's kinda thrilling, you can't even see if my copy is legit or not. So cut out the DRM and ask no more than, say 800 dolars for a master collection. What even worse: the prices here in Europe are an average 30 to 50% more expensive than the US prices.
